About Cassi

| Neuroscientist |
| Human and Artificial Intelligence Specialist |
| Machine Learning Enthusiast | Creative Thinker and Problem Solver |

Since 2014 Cassi-Lee Rubin has completed industry training, academic programmes and international courses to place her at the forefront of neuroscience in South Africa. She devotes her life to problem solving, creative and critical thinking in her area of expertise; computational and clinical neuroscience. Cassi is a proud woman in science, committed to the human brain, machine learning and the combination of the two.

Cassi devotes her time to discovering, and artificially modelling, the intricate complexities of the human brain. Technology, agility and pathology are the foundational blocks behind Cassi's thoughts on innovation in neuroscience and product development in industry.

Cassi is an advocate for multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary work. Being able to merge her foundation in the Humanities’ and Health Sciences within engineering, computer science and business development. Cassi's self taught skills of programming and coding opened her eyes to innovative technological trends and developments in healthcare and the associated benefits of AI in medicine.

Cassi is currently a MSc (MED) in Neuroscience (Surgery) student at the University of Cape Town, in the Division of Neurosurgery at Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa.
